FLORA
TRADE SHOW - A COMBINATION OF BUSINESS & TRAINING
The
organization team is already hard at work on the second edition of
the innovative dynamic event dedicated to floriculture and landscape
from September 14th
to 16th
at Rimini Fiera.
Allocation
of exhibit space is already under way, even greater attention is
being paid to international contacts and the environment, a focus on
professional seminars.
The
winning decision to hold the event simultaneously with MacFrut has
again been confirmed
Following
the satisfactory results obtained with the debut of Flora
Trade Show,
which last September was attended by 4,793
visitors,
the organization team of the event dedicated to floriculture and
landscape is already at work on the second edition, which will be
held at Rimini
Fiera from 14th
to 16th
September 2016.
The winning decision to hold the event simultaneously with MacFrut,
the leading event dedicated to fruit and vegetable production,
organized by Cesena Fiera, has once again been confirmed.
Strongly oriented towards business and professional training by means of meetings, seminars and conferences, Flora Trade Show has made the highlighting of Italian production and international promotion its fundamental mainstays.
With the patronage of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry Policies, Confagricoltura, CIA, Coldiretti Emilia Romagna and Associazione Nazionale Piante e Fiori d´Italia, Flora Trade Show has already announced important objectives for its 2016 edition: a considerable expansion of exhibit space, extremely interesting events for all the expo's professional targets, great involvement of the companies, an on-going boost for internationalization, the extension to include new product sectors connected with green strategies (such as biomass, for example) and the development of issues linked with the protection of the environment and landscape.
The
event’s vocation for internationality had already been tested last
year with the wide participation of
buyers from interesting countries such as Turkey, French, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Romania, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic,
Poland, Belgium and Croatia. Over 600 business meetings were held,
which
foreign trade members had scheduled before the expo, by means of
Rimini Fiera’s digital platform.
Rimini
Fiera chairman Lorenzo
Cagnoni
comments, “Flora Trade can boast a first edition that successfully
met its objectives and was acknowledged as such by the market, with a
high impact layout, top level events and satisfaction on behalf of
companies and visitors attending from Italy and abroad. Rimini
Fiera’s inborn capacity for innovation, thanks to the know-how we
have built up through the years with expos that have several aspects
of their content that are akin to Flora Trade, such as the great
Ecomondo, Key Energy or Sun, enable us to offer the market an
important heritage of experience. We can confidently state that we
had the right vision when we identified Rimini Fiera, an organizer
acknowledged as a top player in the sector, as an expo centre
tailor-made for this event, also thanks to its great inclination for
green
strategies and high sustainability.”
Rimini
Fiera Business Unit manager Patrizia
Cecchi
explains, “The dynamic innovative B2B format, accurately tailored
to meet the sector’s requirements and presented at the first
edition, was greatly appreciated by the market. The fact that the
next edition will also be held simultaneously with
Macfrut,
an expo whose importance and value is acknowledged on both the
domestic and international markets, will confirm the winning
combination able to showcase the entire fruit & vegetable and
floriculture product chains in a single event, with interaction and
crossover that are extremely advantageous for the Rimini expo’s
exhibitors and visitors.”
